Not at all. In fact, the best time to start fertility support is 3 to 6 months before trying. This allows us to optimize your hormones, egg quality, thyroid health, and nutrient levels so your body is ready when you are.
I regularly collaborate with fertility clinics across Hamilton and Ontario. Whether you’re doing IUI, IVF, or using medications like Letrozole, I help support your body’s response to treatment, review your protocols, and address areas like inflammation, gut health, nutrition, and immune function. Think of me as your clinical co-pilot.
Treatment and/or further testing may be initiated during this appointment.
Most patients work with me for 3 to 6 months at a minimum. This gives us time to create hormonal shifts, improve egg and sperm quality, and support lasting changes in your fertility health.
I don’t replace your doctor—I complement their care. My approach is whole-person and root-cause focused. I assess things like thyroid function, nutrient status, gut health, and stress levels that often go overlooked but deeply affect fertility and pregnancy outcomes.
Yes. I assess male partners for key fertility markers like sperm count, motility, morphology, and DNA quality, along with nutrition, lifestyle, and oxidative stress. Optimizing both partners is especially important with IVF or IUI.
“Unexplained” often means no one’s looked deep enough. I use advanced testing to investigate hidden issues like thyroid dysfunction, immune imbalance, hormone disruptions, or uterine factors that may have been missed.
I run full-spectrum fertility labs, including hormone panels, thyroid testing, inflammation markers, Fertilysis, vaginal microbiome testing, sperm DNA fragmentation, and more. I also review past labs from your fertility clinic to identify any gaps.
Many patients start noticing changes within two to three cycles. Since egg and sperm quality take around 90 days to improve, we often work together over a few months to give your body time to respond—especially if you’re preparing for IVF.
Yes. I offer virtual naturopathic fertility consultations across Ontario, so whether you’re in Hamilton, Ancaster, or elsewhere in the province, you can access expert support from the comfort of home.
